Club Chalamet Creator Boils ‘Bad’ People Celebrating Home Burning

While celebrities and citizens alike rally around the communities most affected by the ongoing fires in Los Angeles, one creator behind a popular Timothée Chalamet a fan account has words to say to the people celebrating the destruction.

“For those of you who have sent me private messages laughing at me, wishing I had died in the fire too, or that you were drinking champagne at my sorrow, or that this is my ‘karma’, just know that I know what you are and you do not matter to me,” the Chalamet Club Account posted by X on Saturday, January 11, which is run by a person who goes by the name of Simone.

“I read some of these messages, deleted them and blocked them, and it doesn’t hurt me because, again, I know what you are,” the post continued. “You are mean and mean, and you are the kind of people who would raid the ashes of the homes to find scraps.”

On Thursday, January 9, Simone confirmed i The Hollywood Reporter that she lost her home in the LA fires. “I lost my home in Altadena, but I’m safe with friends,” the content creator told the publication.

So far, the fires have killed at least 11 people and burned more than 37,000 acres of land, according to Fire Cal. The fires have also destroyed more than 12,000 structures and displaced tens of thousands of Los Angeles area residents.

In the same social media post shared on Saturday, Simone thanked the followers who have expressed their sincere condolences and concern for her safety.

“I want to take a moment to thank all of you who have reached out to me directly to express support, empathy, and love for me in the aftermath of the #EatonFire that destroyed my home Tuesday night,” he wrote. “I’ve been in a fog of confusion, I’ve been scared about what to do next, and I’ve been exhausted from not sleeping well, all in between shedding tears.”

The social media influencer went on to say that she’s getting “a little bit stronger” with “every day that goes by,” adding that she’s “confident I’ll move on from this stronger, thank you for friends.”

“I want to address the elephant in the room which is the heavy trolling activity that seems to enjoy seeing me lose everything,” he continued. “These types of people don’t matter to me, they never have, and they never will. It says so much about their character to take joy in learning that someone’s home had burnt down, not realizing that I wasn’t even the owner of the house and that I had risked my life saving 5 animals where most would of people left to die, especially when you had the Altadena sheriff’s department yell at you through a bullhorn to evacuate.”

Many Hollywood stars – oh Paris Hilton a Whitney Cummings i Jennifer Gray a Emily Procter – have reportedly lost their homes to the historic fire.

“I’m so grateful to have survived, but this is my home,” said Procter, who starred The West Wingto CNN’s Jake Tapper in an emotional interview. “It’s my neighborhood. It’s my community. What we mourn is our lives.”

Simone explained in the same X post that she “lives with my temporary boss, along with my landlord’s dog and cats.” She shared that she will be moving in with a friend in the near future “until I can get back on my feet and get a new place.”

“In the meantime, I will resume my support for Timothée Chalamet in his historic bid for his Oscar for his inspiring performance as Bob Dylan in Complete Anonymous,” he added. “Finally, my heart goes out to those of you or your loved ones who also lost their homes or had to evacuate, and I hope that time will heal your sorrows.”
