At a proud and emotional time for the Indian cricket, the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) honest Rohit Sharma Dedicating a booth to his name on the Wankhed Stadium. The tribute was the recognition of Rohit’s immense contribution to Mumbai and the Indian cricket over the years. As the wishes stood out from all over the cricket world, a heart message emphasized: that of the former main coach of India and the legend of battle Rahul Dravid.

Dravid, in his message, mixed humor with admiration, suggesting that Rohit had touched so many in Wankhede that authorities had no choice but to appoint a position after him. He then praised Rohit’s journey, emphasizing that, while each cricketer dreams of playing iconic places like Wankhede and acting well, which Rohit has done constantly, very few imagine having a booth named in his honor. Dravid described the gesture as an adequate recognition of Rohit’s immense contribution to both Bombay and Indian Cricket.
“Hey Rohit, I guess you have hit so many six in those stands that had to be named -but not, only congratulations! I’m sure there is a young man entering the iconic Wankhed Stadium and you have a name, I think it’s just a reward for your contribution to both Mumbai and Indian Cricket.” Dravid said in a video shared by Mumbai Indians in X (before Twitter).

Dravid wished Rohit a wonderful day celebrating this special moment with his loved ones. Adding a touch of light, Dravid was eager to witness many more of Rohit’s brands that climb to the position that now bears his name. He also joked that whenever he needs matches in Wankhede, he now knows exactly who to contact Rohit himself.
“It’s really well deserved. Congratulations! I hope it is a great day with family and friends. Wanting to see many more in the Rohit Sharma booth at all games you play and when I have tickets in Mumbai, now you have a booth, I know who to contact” Dravid has been added.
