Finn Allen shines in San Francisco Unicorns vs Washington Freedom Clash

In the opening match of the Cricket of the Major League (MLC) 2025, the unicorns of San Francisco closed their horns with the freedom of Washington in the Oakland Coliseum of Oakland.

Washington Freedom won the launch and invited San Francisco’s unicorns to beat the game first. Kiwi Top-Order’s Batsman, Finn Allen, decided to make the most of the opportunity to beat a fresh wicket first, and played a brand of attacking cricket from the beginning.

Allen launched an attack on the Washington Freedom bowls and ran up to fifty in just 20 balls. It was unstoppable in the center and further accelerated to complete a historic century in just 34 balls.

Finn Allen was not yet done and sought to record a Daddy Cent. He continued to break the bowls throughout the park and reached the next milestone of 150 runs in just 49 balls.

Mitchell Owen finished his entrance to the first ball of 18. Owen threw a short length ball to Allen, which hit the ball directly into the hands of Glenn Phillips in Long-on.

He finished his tickets with 151 runs under the 51 ball belt, including 5 four and 19 six. New Zealand’s baptism played with a 296.07 strike rate and raised the bat by soaking in applause while returning to the hut. Allen’s tickets helped San Francisco Unicorns to register a colossal total of 269/5, which was the largest in the United States.

CLOCK: FINN ALEN’S JAP-CLINGING BATTING A MLC 2025

Speaking of his tickets during Mid-Innings’ pause, Finn Allen said he was excited to break the fastest tone in the history of the Cricket of the Major League. He made:

“It was exciting (when making the hundreds fastest in the history of the MLC), until the beginning, we found the limits regularly, we had a few collaborations and we got a good score on the advice. The boundaries are quite decent, we will have to dump the appropriate line and the lengths, the field well and we can defend this score.”
