I want to start first by tackling not only anyone I have hurt or crime deeply – but most importantly – the whole Asian community. I’m deep, really, honest.”
She added that she did not know she was originally used Slur.

“I had no idea that the word caught so much pain, so much harm and coming with the history he did or would never have used. I had no bad intention when I was using it but that is not at all excuse because intent does not excuse ignorance. It does not,” he added. “I need you to know I’m so angry – but this is not an apology video. This is a video liability. I want to hold my hands up and say that I take liability for using the word, but I want it to be known that I had no real idea that it was slurry. I had no idea of its meaning.”
Cierra noted that she immediately removed the post after a follower brought her to his attention.
“At that moment, I was ashamed. I – of course – removed the job immediately. I apologized and I did education not only myself on the true meaning and history of the word but also any of my surroundings that was a place that was still accidental for this slurry,” he said. “I immediately made the correction. The work was removed from my vocabulary immediately.”

“The truth is, in that moment, the lesson was taught, the word was removed and it was a real learning moment for me. Since that moment, I’ve done so much growing as an individual and I’ve tried my best to educate others who may be accidental for these kinds of words that could be offensive in their vocabulary,” he continued. “I totally agree with the network’s decision to draw me from the villa. I think this is something that deserved punishment and the penalty has certainly been accepted.”
Cierra also emphasized that it does not support the “racism or oppression of any cultural group in any form” through its Instagram stories.
