Christina Haack ‘Cuts Energy’ Amidst Messy Divorce From Josh Hall

Christina Haack is “cutting energy” in the midst of her ongoing divorce from an estranged husband Josh Hall.

Haack, 41, took to it Instagram stories on Monday, January 13, to share a photo of firewood burning in a large bowl. He captioned the post “power cut” and added emojis of a peace sign as well as a wolf and moon – a reference to the full Wolf Moon in the air that night.

The HGTV personality appeared to be participating in a wellness exercise called “cut a cord,” what an energy healer George Lisa recently described in Goop.com.

“Toxic strings of attachment … are created intentionally over time,” Lizos said. “The majority of these connections are formed as a result of the time and energy you spend intentionally with others—shared moments and exchanged words. While these cords may have been positive at the beginning of a relationship, they have since become negative as the relationship has deteriorated.”

While Haack tried to release negative attachments, her ex, Hall, went Instagram-official with a new love Stephanie Gabriel.

on Monday, Hall updated his Instagram Stories with a photo of himself and Gabrys embracing by a fire pit with mountains in the background. “Happy 35th to this real life (angel),” Hall captioned the photo, adding an angel emoji and tagging Gabrys.

Earlier this month, a source exposure only to Us Weekly that Hall “met someone lovely in Nashville, and they’ve been happily dating for some time.” The insider noted that while Josh “wasn’t trying to date,” he met someone who is “a perfect match.”

Meanwhile, Haack revelation that her divorce battle with Hall was intensifying.

“We’re going to have a trial I hear,” he said on the Thursday, January 9, episode of Radio Andy’s Jeff Lewis Liveclaims that Hall “doesn’t want to do mediation” and suggests that he was not moving the process forward.

“It’s going to be fun,” he told the host Jeff Lewis. “Can’t wait.”

Haack and Hall both filed for divorce in July 2024 after more than two years of marriage.

According to court documents obtained by UsHaack – hired a divorce attorney Laura Waters — asked neither side to get spousal support and wanted Hall to pay her lawyer’s fees. Meanwhile, Hall was seeking spousal support from his ex and asked her to pay his attorney fees.

I gave him money to live on and he bought a Bentley but he doesn’t have a job like that.”

Responding to Haack’s latest interview, a spokesperson for Hall said Us: “Hall is not available for comment, as he continues to live his life in the present and celebrate the birthday of his beautiful new girlfriend. That said, it’s sad that Christina has to resort to low-key shots about her ex Josh to promote her new show. She should focus on her new boyfriend and stop talking about Josh. Like the big one Mariah Carey he once sang, ‘Why were you so obsessed with me?’ We wish Christina the best.”

Hall’s rep added, “Christine doesn’t know anything about Josh’s life, and it’s sad that she’s still speculating. Her accusations are baseless.”
