Christian Mbilli and Lester Martinez weighed with 167 pounds on Friday’s heavy today for their 12 -round struggle for the Mbilli Interim Medium Weight Title, this Saturday, September 13th.
Mbilli (29-0, 24 kos) believes that his fight against the WBA invictten #3, Martinez (19-0, 16 kos), could steal the show of the main show between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford to be the struggle of the night on the Turku Alralkh card.
Mbilli-Martinez will be the third struggle from the top of the card to Netflix at the Las Vegas allegiating stadium. Although this struggle should be the co-finture, it has been located below Callum Walsh vs Fernando Vargas Jr.
Weight results
The temporary champion of WBC, Mbilli, 30, claims that his hope is that he can fight the winner of the Canelo-Crawford struggle. It is questionable if this will happen, however, because it is not mentioned as the possible opponent for the winner.
Mbilli’s placement in the card number 3 is a great suggestion that is not in the pipeline to face the winner of the Canelo crash with Crawford. What fans could see is a game between Canelo and Hamzah Sheeraz or the winner of Christ Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn Rematch.
Mbilli’s advantages over Martinez
“I”, said Mbilli to Fight Hub TV When asked who is the biggest punch between him and Lester Martinez. “We’ll see, but it will be a great struggle. I think we have a lot of chance of stealing the show. I am ready and I’ll be ready after this struggle,” Mbilli said when he was asked if he wants to fight against the winner of Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford.
“I’m going to show the world after the struggle I am ready for anyone,” said Mbilli.
