China launches space probe Tianwen-2 to collect samples from asteroid near Mars

In China there is Launched a space probe that would drive on an asteroid near Mars to collect samples and find potential “innovative” results.

The Tianwen-2 probe was launched on Thursday from the XICHANG satellite center in the southwest of Sichuan China province on board a labor horse on March 3, China’s National Space Administration reports.

Tianwen-2 purpose will be different from Tianwen-1 predecessor, which launched a year ago and landed on Mars.

Tianwen-2 will strive for Asteroid 2016 Ho3which is also known as 469219 kamoʻoalewa to return samples.

The proposed 10-year plan would provide more than this cosmic mission if China continues to look to expand into space.

Zhang Rongcies, Chief Designer Tianwen-1, told China’s central television that plans to implement “Tianwen-3” Mars Dreting Mission in 2028, while “Tianwen-4” to Jupiter.

According to the Associated Press, asteroids selected for them relatively stable orbits will hope to offer tips on the formation of the earth, such as the origins of water.

2016HO3 samples should be returned for about two years.

Even if CNSA is going to distribute these samples to international partners, as in previous missions, NASA will not be able to receive any samples.

The law adopted in 2011, known as the Wolf Amendment limits NASA in cooperation with CNSA.
