The Chinese military has called the recent excerpt of the British warship through the Taiwanese Strait of the Damaging Act of “intentional provocation”, which “undermines peace and stability”.
The British Royal Fleet says HMS Spey patrol was part of a long planned deployment on Wednesday and was in accordance with international law.
Patrol – the first on the British military ship in four years – comes when the region arrives in the UK region, which will last for several months.
China considers Taiwan its territory – the statement that the self -directed Taiwan rejects – and did not rule out the use of force for “reunion” on the island.
