China and us are in your throat with each other by tariffs, and no one retreats

Neither Donald Trump nor Xi Jinping is like they will quickly retreat on tariffs

US companies seeking to sell to a huge Chinese market just made a big blow. The increase in prices by 34% on all US goods that are part of the country knocks out of here.

This is especially bad for American agricultural producers. They already had 10 or 15% of the tariffs for their products in China, in response to the last round of Trump tariffs. Now that you add 34% to this, this is probably the prices for most of them.

Beijing does not seem to be too concerned that he looks for more chicken, pork and sorghum elsewhere else – at the same time – he knows that he beat the US president right in his heart.

On the world scale, all this is concerned about analysts.

The problem is that the supply networks have become so international, the components in any product can be obtained from all over the planet.

Thus, when the ripples of economic suffering begin to spread from the country to the country, it can have potentially catastrophic consequences for all trade.

Most of them are that the two largest economies in the world are now in the throat with each other without showing that it is either preparing for redemption.

Just take the timing of Beijing’s announcement.

The Chinese government revealed its promised “decisive counteraction” to Trump’s last tariff in a written statement by the Ministry of Finance at 18:00 local time (10:00 GMT), on Friday night, which is also a national holiday.

Terms can mean several things.

1. He wanted to bury a few at home, so as not to scare people.

2. It just announced the statement as soon as their own calibrations were completed.

3. Thus, the government just decided to allow it to disrupt.

If this is the last of these reasons, it is quite gloomy news for the world economy, because it may mean that the settlement between the superpowers of the world can be more difficult to achieve than many expected.

Another indicator of President SI’s attitude towards President Trump can see what he did when they were announced.

Elsewhere, governments may have been glued to television, hoping to avoid the worst of Washington.

Not here.

He introduced some peace of mind in front of Trump, giving mood on the line: Make your best Washington, it’s China, and we are not interested in your nonsense.

There is still a place for the US and China to cut some transaction, but the rhetoric does not seem to go that way.

Another possible way is to increase its trade with other countries – including Western countries, which were once regarded as close US allies – and for these new routes, in fact, reduce America from the loop.

Again, it will hurt not only American companies but also US consumers who will already pay higher prices thanks to Trump tariffs.
