Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, Democrat, signed an executive order on Saturday, which forbid city police officers to cooperate with the troops of the National Guard or federal agents when President Donald Trump will threaten to deploy them in The windy city.
“This executive order gives you a strong understanding that this president is not going to come and deploy our police department,” Johnson said at a press conference with other city leaders.
