Cheyenne Floyd Mother Teen Expect Baby No. 2 with Zach Davis

Cheyenne Floyd and Zach Davis ready to expand their family one last time.

On the episode of Thursday, May 22, from Teen Mother: Next ChapterThe couple confirmed that they were expecting their second child together later this year.

“I think we’re in shock,” Cheyenne just told her Weekly US Remembering the scene when she discovered she was pregnant. “It was not expected, as, at all. God’s plan is always more than ours.”

As seen at the end of the season, Cheyenne was preparing to start fertility treatments in less than a week. Everything changed, however, when a clear blue pregnancy test confirmed she was pregnant.

It’s exciting news for a couple who have bravely documented their journey in expanding their family on reality television.

“This has been a bit of a journey for me and Chey,” Zach told Us. “We definitely made a kind of teasing back and forth on wanting a baby. I wanted one, and then she went through the time of wanting one, and I wasn’t on the same page as her, but then we kind of came to the same episode, and we tried to make her work.”

Along the way, the couple experienced infertility problems with Zach learning that his sperm was not “swimming.” As for Cheyenne, she discovered that she has PCOS, a common hormonal disorder in women.

With help from therapyTheir faith and support of family and friends, MTV reality stars never stopped hope.

“It’s God’s timing,” explained Zach. “God gave us a child right before we start. And I’m a happy hella. I’m excited. I want 10 fingers, 10 toes, and I’m happy.”

While Cheyenne admitted she was “steadily nausea” and tired, she is grateful that she no longer has to hide the news.

“On Snapchat is the hardest because I share so much on a snap,” Cheyenne’s joking. “People are on a snap like, ‘Why do you have a blanket on and it’s hot outside?’ Or ‘Why do you have on a hoodie and it’s hot?’ I am very happy that we share.

Throughout the season, Cheyenne and Zach have been overwhelmed with supporting messages from people who have found themselves in similar situations.

After pushing through highs and lows, the couple hopes that their story reminds viewers to go carefully when asking others for their fertility journeys.

“Always give that person’s race and allow him to share what they want to share before you ask a million questions and you’re business,” said Cheyenne. “I think you have to be very considerate when you’re talking about fertility, and watch the trigger warnings. You don’t know what can trigger a woman or man when having these conversations.”
