Despite rampant speculation, a detailed examination of the viral clip and the event accounts reveal important discrepancies.
The woman who hugged Gill in the viral photo was not Sara Tendulkar, but Hazel Keech, actress and the wife of ancient India, Yuvraj Singh. Hazel herself uploaded the image to her social networks, which was then widely mistaken for users who believed that the woman was Sara. Both Gill and Hazel were greeted in warm during the gala, as is usual in these formal meetings.
