Charlie Puth remembers alive the first time he heard Britney Spears‘2003 hit “toxic.”

“If I don’t like something, I’m going to scratch it out in red. But if something is in a hurry, I will also write it in red,” he explained. “I see when I write words in my own handwriting, things seem to flow better. When I only type something out, it doesn’t feel like he has so much personality.”
Also, the iconic fold, 55, makes puth feel nostalgic.
“Shopping back to school is one of my favorite (memories),” he said. “The smell of falls, crisp apples and pumpkins in the air. It’s exciting. I still get a thrill away from that. I will go into staples, and I will, like, smell the paper.”
