Authorities took a man named George Zinn to custody immediately after the shooting. Pictures and video shared on Zinn’s social media, 71, were restrained by police to many believing that he was the shooter.
However, the police soon decided that he was not involved in the shooting and was being taken into custody on suspicion of preventing justice. He released it later.

“Charlie was a giant of his generation, a champion of freedom, and an inspiration to millions and millions of people,” said Trump. “We miss him very much, and yet I have no doubt that Charlie’s voice and the courage he gave in the hearts of people, especially young people, will live.”
