It Champions league It returns for its second season in the recently adopted format and by 2025-26, the Premier League will have six teams that seek to become the best side in Europe.
Champions Liverpool seek to claim a historic crown of the seventh Champions League and assume the enemies Real Madrid, which will include a visit by Trent Alexander-Arnold, as well as Inter Milan.
In the meantime, Arsenal will again host the Bayern Munich and will also travel to San Siro, and Tottenham will assume PSG in a resale of the Super Cup in August.
Manchester City participates in its 15th consecutive campaign in the European elite competition and will face Borussia Dortmund, with Real Madrid, who also expected Pep Guardiola’s side, next to a meeting with former midfielder Kevin de Bruyne.
They are joined by the Chelsea World Champions, who have to travel to the Napoli of Antonio Conte, as well as the Bayern de Munich.
The other heavy ones, including the Spanish giants Barcelona, who face Chelsea and PSG, participate.
Real Madrid has to overcome both Liverpool and the city, and Harry Kane Munich’s Bayern has some tough tests against Chelsea, PSG and Arsenal.

How does the Champions League draw work?
The 36 clubs participating in the competition are made up of:
- 27 parts that were classified through their domestic league positions
- The Champions League headlines and Europa League
- Seven teams that advanced through classification rounds
Clubs are raised in four jars, determined by the UEFA club coefficients rankings. From Pot 1, the equipment is drawn individually and each will be assigned to eight opponents by the UEFA automated software.
Each team will play eight accessories in total: two opponents from each pot, one at home and one away.
Clubs cannot face the opponents of their own country, and no team can be attracted to play more than two clubs in the same nation (for example, two Italian teams).
This process continues until the complete calendar of the 36 clubs is confirmed.

When does the new Champions League campaign begin?
UEFA has set out the full calendar for the champion league phase this season, including the departure strips and the days of matches under the extended calendar.
The full schedule will be published on Saturday, August 30 to determine who will play who and in what order.
Output
- On the day of the party, two games will begin at 17:45, with the remaining games started at 20:00.
- In the final round of accessories, the 18 games will be played simultaneously at 20:00.

Key changes under the new format
The phase of the league now concludes in January, instead of ending before Christmas.
Six accessories will be played before the winter break, with the last two rounds scheduled for January 20-21 and January 28.
