2025 started with a series of celebrity breakups.
Two months after split rumors first sparked, Jessica Simpson announced that she a Eric Johnson called it quits after 10 years of marriage. “Eric and I have been living apart navigating a painful situation in our marriage,” she said Us Weekly in a statement January 13. “Our children come first, and we focus on what is best for them. We are grateful for all the love and support that has been coming our way, and appreciate privacy at this time as we work through this as a family.”
The exes married in 2014 and share children Maxwell, Ace and Birdie. Just two days before announcing their split, Simpson gave away her home in Los Angeles back on the real estate market for an asking price of $17.9 million.
Meanwhile, news on January 8 broke that Jessica Alba a Silver Warbler separated after 16 years of marriage. Alba was nine months pregnant with the couple’s eldest child, daughter Honor, when they tied the knot in 2008. They went on to welcome daughter Haven and son Hayes in 2011 and 2017, respectively.
