Teen’s mother‘S. Catelynn Lowell and husband Tyler Baltierra revealed why their daughter Carly’s adoptive parents blocked them.
Appears in the episode on Thursday, March 27, of Teen Mother: Next ChapterLowell, 33, and Baltierra, 33, discussed Brand and Teresa Davis‘Decision to cut off communication despite agreement to start to open adoption.
“Brandon and Teresa immediately told our adoption counselor, Dawn, ‘Yes, I had to block it about my mental health,'” Catelynn said during the episode, per People. “And I was like, ‘Your mental health, your mental health?’ That is, it was like a concern.
The explanation came after Lowell have said Weekly US In January the last time she saw Carly, who was given up for open as a new -born adoption in 2009, was two years ago. “They have basically closed the adoption on us,” he told Us at the time. “That’s difficult.”
In the episode, Lowell added that Teresa “told the dawn to tell us that we are no longer allowed to send presents because he has not called for it,” before noting that Dawn has asked them to keep that directive for themselves. “I said, ‘Well, f *** now, I say. I pour it from the roofs.’”
Baltierra also appeared in the episode, adding his own thoughts to the situation. “You have my child, you can’t take my story too,” he told the cameras.
The episode also saw Lowell recall how Teresa asked for an apology from her by talent. “You need an apology? For what? To me, giving out how you are like a human being and what you did to us. I deserve af *** apology,” Lowell concluded.
Lowell recently protect Her decision to talk openly about Carly, 16, and keep the young man in her lives and Baltierra. “Before communication was broken, I was told that Carly asked her parents, ‘Why can’t we get together more? Why can’t we get together for a holiday? They would fly here to come and see me,'” Lowell claimed through her Instagram story on February 9. “So in my heart, I don’t feel she wants this.”
Carly’s adoption was recorded at MTV’s 16 and pregnant. Although open adoption agreed – meaning that Lowell and Baltierra could accept photos and see their daughter in person once a year – things started to change when it became older.
“I want Carly to know that if she’s the one who still wants contact and doesn’t happen, I’ll fight for that until the day I die or until she tells me it’s too difficult for me to get a link,” Lowell told us. “But until that day, I want her to know that I am always here and always ready to do whatever I can.”
