The Israeli military said in a statement that his troops were “expanding” his activity in the city, giving no details about their movements.
At the beginning of the attack on the land on Tuesday, the chief of staff of the military, Lieutenant General Eyala, ordered the troops “to strengthen the blows against Hamas and strongly defeat the city’s gas brigade to fulfill the most moral and important duty – the return of all hostages at home, as well as the deviation of Hamas’s military and ruling speeds.”
Cerev warned that many people were unable to execute the Israeli military order to evacuate into the designated “humanitarian region” in the south.
“Issuing the movement of your belongings when you are lucky enough to find a vehicle that moves them is urgent. It is not available for many people. And so many do it on foot, barely a mattress in your hands and possibly a plastic package.”
And as soon as they arrived, there was no guarantee of asylum and security, she added.
“I talked to a lot of people who recently arrived in Deir al-Bala and (southern city) Khan Yunis. Many of them are sitting on the street side. They have no shelter. They don’t know where to go.
“Yesterday I met a family who went for four days, trying to find a place to sleep and they failed,” she said.
The WHO chief, Dr. Tedroz Ozhan Gebreyz said that the Israeli offensive “causes injured families to a permanent sealing region, unusable for human dignity.”
“The victims and people with disabilities cannot go into security, which puts their lives in serious danger,” he wrote on X.
