Penitentiary Pococi Penitentiary staff caught a cat with two drug packages attached to his body.
According to a statement on Facebook, the country’s Justice Ministry, on May 6, guards noticed the animal in the green area of the prison before seizing it.
The cats had packages containing 235.65 g of marijuana and 67.76 g of heroin, the authorities said, adding that drugs had been confiscated and the animal was transferred to the National Health Service to assess health.
