“There have been years where he has received the call earlier, and there have been years where he has won the call a lot later,” explained Bryle, adding, “You might wonder why they take so long to call them the benefits and offer them a job. And it’s a very nervous thing because, as I said, no one has promised the show.”

He continued, “They have to have a group of celebrities available for the big chunk of the year. It’s like three to four months, so it has to work out in their schedule. There are many who go to the pairs for the real partnership. A big one is height, personality.”
Initially, the show holds back star identities from their dance partners.
“So when the benefits get the call, that usually means, ‘Hey, we have a partner for you,'” said Bryle. “But even when they get the call, I am not told who their fame is. Because as I mentioned before, it’s really showbiz. Like, nothing can change.”
He said “to Brandon and I, most celebrities, they don’t mind who they get as long as they have a partner they want to be around. There’s really a family, a team. Obviously they would love a partner who could get them to the end – because who doesn’t want to win bird birds?”
Brylee is very proud with Brandon’s new Dump companion, Jauregui, 29, which she calls “amazing.” The American Singer-composer Cuban Multi-Platinum began her career as a member of the Fifth Harmony pop group before going individually with a new album in the works for 2026.
Jauregui said on Wednesday that she “taught that I was going to be on the show two days ago. So I don’t have to have had to come in (the studio) with Brandon again, but we want to get there.”
Brandon and Jauregu join a starred lineup that includes Hilaria Baldwin (with a dancer Gleb savchenko), Alix Earle (with Val Chmerkovskiy), Corey Feldman (with Jenna Johnson)) Danielle Fishel (with Pasha Pashkov).
