“I wouldn’t say we’re closer (than if he played). I would just say he looks more like a deck, more foot on earth. So he was there in my games, he was there, I could go to his house and just spend the day with him, I feel it was some material that we didn’t go while he was in the League. “So, I will be able to spend more time with him, and he put all his time on the platform, let it work, and he came to my games, I feel that it bought us closer to our connection, our connection has always been, but it just intensified, and it is kind of growing.”
Some Son’s parents came in cooperation with Meta, where the duo shot an episode “Only close friends” to celebrate their father’s day where they talked about their relationship, basketball and ordinary conversations.
“Being able to break up with Meta and Instagram and show the other side on the court, just showing my identity and connection I and my dad, I feel it was a great way out. And it was a lot of fun to work with them. And I feel that because we did it,” Kiyan said.
“People see it all the time on my games on the side, but never see how our true connection is from the site. So, I feel what to do these cooperation, and these interviews, and these podcasts, it gives us another chance to show fans how the bond we build and the type of communication.”
Kiyan confessed that he had previously been “pressure” to live with his blood, especially with his blood. But in the end, his dreams in the NBA are him, not his father.

“Honestly, at the beginning of my career, I was not even good in basketball. So just having a lot of opinions, and people say I’m not so good and my dad wasn’t there because he was still in the league, only I try to handle it myself,” Kiyan said. “But when I started to work better when I continued to work, people started doing my side, so now I got a lot of fans. Obviously, it’s a lot of haters, a lot of mixed opinions, but you know I’m just going and I look forward to every game, having a big base of fans. I know I am going and I have a lot of eyes on me.
“My dad was never a type of man to make me have to play basketball that I had to do what he did. So he just allowed me to roll and let me make his own decisions, but it happened what I wanted to do and that’s what I fell in love,” he continued. “So now, I have the opportunity to go in his footsteps to go to my school, hope to win some games. Obviously, the NBA is the main goal, but I go to school for one year – for years, it will always be there. So just try every day. That’s what I want to talk to my dad, if I really just say it, like that, like it.

“My dad won the national championship. Obviously, this is the main goal, but even when I go there and win a few games, I got into the tournament, won a couple of games in the tournament, I feel that it is a huge success because they have left the network in the last couple of years,” Kiyan confessed. “They did not hold the tournament. They didn’t win a lot of games at the conference. So, I will just try to go there and really just return the fans, bring what Syracuse is about, and everyone knows what it was about. They just failed in the last few years.”
