Mark Karnya and the Liberal Party declared a great victory in the Canada elections – and it seems that a great help to Donald Trump came.
The constant attitude of the US president’s northern neighbor and is mocked to make him the 51st US state since his return to his post in January coincided with the dramatic reversal in the Fortune for the left Central Party.
Karni was almost the only focused on his neighbor, and it was reflected in his speech. Warning that the United States wants the land and resources of Canada, Carney said: “President Trump is trying to break us so that America can own us. It will never happen.”
Prior to Trump’s return to power, the Pierrever Conservative Party had the fact that it resembled high and irresistible soil in polls of voters among the general dissatisfaction with the state of the Canadian economy and 10 years of the liberal government under the then leader of Justin Trudnya.
Last year was devastating to existing governments around the world, and parties across the political spectrum are losing position or open control – with the US, UK, Japan, Germany, France and India among the most famous examples.
These Canadian universal elections violated the trend when the liberals forced the trudan to resign and chose a political outsider, former Bank Chief Carney, as their leader.
He was strongly faced with the fact that the party was constantly characterized as a real threat that Trump represented not only for their economy, but also to the very sovereignty of Canada.
Although Trump does not seem to have the same dislike for Karni that he obviously conducted for Trudu, his political and political interests and interests of Canada are now destined to continue at odds.
There are already signs that Canada is more looking for Europe as a reliable partner, not Trump’s America is a step that is necessarily caused by an American leader.
Karnya pledged to quickly start new trade talks with Trump in an attempt to get rid of the US export exports, which began on May 3.
The Canadian economy, which depends heavily on exports to the US, is at a significant risk when the full trade war breaks out, and Karni – an economist for training and a central veteran banker – promised to do everything that depends on him not to fall into Canada into recession.
Meanwhile, on Monday, Trump’s Canadian policy was introduced once again in Canadian politics, while voters reject the ballots, again calling the American border with the Canadian “artificially drawn” and say that nations will be better as a “demanded” American state.
Carney rose to political power quite suddenly, at a time when his country is facing the generation from a superpowers’ neighbor. In the second term, many world leaders are still developing how to fight Donald Trump, but few will face such a test.
However, no one should expect that these liberals can thank the American leader – or for the Trump to soften his rhetoric, although last month he stated that he preferred the Liberal Prime Minister. (He kept saying that he really didn’t care who won.)
Instead, this is probably a likely result – more sharpened appeals regarding US accession, more threats of trade war and more willingness to throw long -standing ties and agreements with the North neighbor of America in doubt.
The irony, however, is that Trump’s depleted attention in Canada may have denied him a northern neighbor, which is governed, if not a related spirit, at least, politicians are more in accordance with their populist priorities than liberal corn.
While the polish, veterans’ policy, will never be accepted for the US president, they have some similarities-go-the government, reducing taxes and trimming social services, a desire to promote fossil fuel production, and disappointment that they both break up as “wake up”.
The conservative victory in this election would have been considered by many – in America and around the world – as a new sign that Trump’s victory last year was not just a single American event. This would represent that many in Trump’s orbit love to believe that it is a global movement to their brand cultural, anti -ielit, anti -migration and work policies.
