The heavyweight contender Jared Anderson (17-1, 15 kos) in 15 days against Marios Kollias (12-3-1, 19 kos) in a rounded ten on February 14 in the departure of Denys Berinchyk vs. Keyshawn Davis in Madison Garcia Square in New York. The event will be displayed live on Espn and Espn+.
Martin Bakole damaged the big Top Rank plans for Anderson, 25, destroying it in five rounds last summer on the Al-Sheikh Turki card on August 3 at the Los Angeles BMO Stadium.
The first rank had been preparing Jared with the same party they had done by Edgar Berlanga and Keyshawn, putting it against the gentle adversaries to build it to be a Dwarf star. He is not a real star, but a smaller one. Bakole temporarily ruined things with the knockout victory.
Despite having fallen three times, Anderson was not bad. It’s fun to see and you can say you have the skills to be world champion. The chin, though. This is the limiting factor.
Anderson landed well when he did not get into the dirt and looked like a better fighter than Bakole. If the chin had endured, he may have won a decision. Unfortunately, he could not handle Bakole’s power and was crushed in the fifth, dropping twice before the referee stirred him.
Anderson is number 9 Wbo and number 15 IBF. If you can focus on your defense, you may be able to do something with your career, but you can protect your fragile chin. You cannot punch for anything, which will not change. A wrestler with a weak chin at the age of 25 will not improve as they grow old.
The first range is trying to rebuild the Toledo, Ohio, Native Anderson, to coincide with the little known Kollias, a Greek native. It is not clear how many reconstruction struggles will be put in Jared before deciding whether to maintain or cut it. It doesn’t look good. If you look terrible against Kollias, I would be surprised if Anderson continues with the first rank of a year from now on.
Before Anderson lost to Martin Bakole, the warning signs were already there. He had been injured in his fights against Charles Martin and Jerry Forrest. The two heavyweights possessed power, but it was a bad sign that Jared was fighting at this level at the beginning of his career.
Anderson did not have a tremendous career for experience before becoming a professional in 2019. As an amateur, Jared was 21 to 5, which is not the record indicated by a future champion.
On February 14, Junior Middleweight Xander Zayas contestant will face Slawa Spomer on the same card. Zayas is another fighter for whom the maximum rank expects big things. However, he cannot punch and have been injured as a minor, so he will have problems in this race.
