Busy Philipps on being in his 40s: ‘I’m a hotter way now’

Busy Phillips Embracing life in her 40s – and she thinks there are some benefits that come with the milestone.

Phillips revealed that she never felt pressure when she turned 40 to look in a certain way. “But I think there’s something about living authentic and most like yourself that allows you to look better. You know what I mean?” he said. “I think that’s true.”

In honor of her 40th birthday, Phillips threw herself as a “huge party” because she was “so excited” for the new age.

“I feel, like, the new 30 or whatever, but I feel that I have only entered my own last few years,” he admitted. “I don’t think before that I’m especially in my body and true self.”

To celebrate California’s pizza kitchen turning to 40, Phillips partnered with the restaurant – where she Worked in high school as a host. When Phillips went to college at the University of Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles, she worked in California Pizza Kitchen until she landed Pilot for Freaks and Greeks. (Teenage comedy, which first performed in 1999, continued for one season.)

“I think your 40s are amazing, and I think we all embrace it and come over the idea that it’s anything to feel ashamed of or you would want to try to hide your age because at this point, honey, you lasted 40 years, that’s something to celebrate,” he said Us. “The fact that after all these years, CPK is still killed, still making the pizzas – from my gosh, that original barbecue chicken pizza is still so delicious.”
