On and off the screen, Bruce Willis He has a long list of achievements to be proud of.
The actor rose to fame like David Addison Jr Moonlightsbroadcast for five seasons between 1985 and 1989. During the show’s successful run, Willis married Demi Moore and welcome three daughters – Rumer Willis, Willis Scout and Tallulah Willis– with the Spirit actress. The pair announced their division in 1998 but had a good choparenting relationship.
While Bruce has more than 100 IMDB credits, he may be best known for his role as John McClane in the Dying hard Franchise. The first film struck theaters in 1998, and returned for four other films, wrapping the series with 2013’s Good day to die hard.
“No one ever knows when a movie is going to start. No one could predict this,” said the Emmy winner USA today in promoting the fifth installment. “Did I think at the time I would still make these films 25 years later? You should call the President of the United States and ask him what will happen 25 years from now. No one has any idea.”
As he continued to appear in movies and a guest star on TV shows, Bruce met his second wife, Emma Heming Willis. He married the pair in 2009 and welcomed two daughters: Mabel and Evelyn.
News broke out in March 2022 that Bruce was “stepping back” from his career after being diagnosed with Afasia.
“For the amazing fans of Bruce, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce had been experiencing some health issues and had recently been diagnosed with Affasia, which affects his cognitive abilities,” read a joint statement, signed by Heming Willis, Moore, Moore and their wife. “We move through this as a strong family unit, and want to bring his fans in because we know how much it means to you, as you do.”
A year later, his family confirmed that his condition had moved on to Dementia Frontotemporal.
