Brock Jarvis says he is worried about Keith Thurman, 36, appearing in his fight on March 12 due to his injury problems. Thurman has been plagued by constant injuries since 2017, and it’s anyone’s guess whether his tired, brittle and aging body can handle a grueling training camp to fight young lion Jarvis on March 12.

“I saw a guy who’s going to fight. He’s an insider; he’s going to come and bring power punches to the table. I was notorious when I was coming in, I was a power puncher. This allows me to go back to my roots. Of course, my feet are always under me I have a ring IQ that I can always bring to the table.
“As the promoter says. He knows that on March 12 there will be some firecrackers from the USA and Australia, and life in action on March 12. I’m looking forward to it. This young man in his prime at 27, and the fact that he’s not Mexican, but he’s got to have some guts to approach me,” Thurman said.
Brock Jarvis: “He stated there that he’s a powerful puncher, but I know he hasn’t scored a knockout in 10 years. He hasn’t fought in three years. That’s a long time at his age. Like, last year he had a scheduled fight (Tim Tszyu) and he pulled out with an old man’s injury, a torn bicep, so I’m a little worried he won’t even show up. I’ll feel a little better when he gets here on Australian soil.”
