Brittany Mahomes stuns fans with appearance at Chiefs playoff game days after giving birth

Brittany Mahomes may have been avoiding the broadcast camera Kansas City Chiefs beat the Houston Texans on Saturday night, but she was at Arrowhead Stadium for the game.

Mahomes stunned NFL fans with her appearance in an AFC playoff game. Just days before, she had given birth to her and Patrick’s third child, Golden ray.

Fans, who saw Mohamed on the sidelines to support her husband, praised her for her appearance. She and Patrick announced the birth of their child on Monday.

Brittany Mahomes was pregnant throughout the 2024 NFL season and still managed to show up to most of the Chiefs’ home games at Arrowhead Stadium to support the quarterback and the team.

It seems that Patrick was worried about the due date. She was due to give birth the week the Chiefs could have a playoff game. Patrick might have missed the delivery if Kansas City hadn’t won the games it needed to gain home-field advantage and a first-round bye in the postseason.

Fortunately, the Chiefs ended it against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day.

Patrick was talking about their last child on Wednesday.

“I’m good with three at the moment,” he told reporters on Tuesday. “Maybe we’ll see further, but my goal has always been three, so we’ve had three and we’ll hang on for a while and see if we need to go back and get another one later.”

The family already has two children – Bronze and Sterling. Mahomes talked about how Brittany is feeling after the birth of their newborn and how the other siblings are coping.

“It was cool. I mean, I’m just supportive. Brittany crushed it,” he said. “It’s been cool to welcome another girl into our family and see how my other kids react to her and having a little sister and stuff like that. It was a lot of fun, and it was cool that football was on TV while I was in the hospital, so I got to watch a little while Brittany let us watch football while she was getting ready to give birth to our second daughter.”

The Chiefs will be at home for the AFC Championship Game against the Buffalo Bills or Baltimore Ravens.
