“We’re seeing whole new sides of Ginny and Georgia,” star Brianne Howey just say Us Weekly in 2025 WWD Style Awards on Friday, January 3. “I feel, (it’s) a surprise ’cause we’ve seen so many sides to them already, but look, there’s more.”
Howey, 35, portrays the titular Georgia in the multi-season Netflix drama about a young single mother who moves her family to Wellsbury, Massachusetts after a scandalous past. Ginny and Georgia also stars Ladies of Antonia (Georgia’s daughter, Ginny), Diesel La Torraca (son of Georgia, Austin), Ugly Felix (Felix Baker), Sara Wasglass (Maxine Baker), Scott Porter (Paul Randolph) a Raymond Black (Joe).
A third season was renewed in May 2023 with few details confirmed other than that the latest batch of episodes will hit the streaming giant later this year.

Speaking to Us On Friday, Howey teased just three adjectives to sum up the storylines.
“Oh my gosh: It’s uplifting, heartbreaking and hysterical,” Howey said.
Ginny and Georgia season 2 dropped on Netflix in 2023, when Georgia and Austin finally discovered their mother’s murderous past. By the finale, Georgia is arrested on her and Paul’s wedding day for murdering Cynthia’s husband, a resident of Wellsbury. (Georgia kills her terminally ill husband after learning that Cynthia blocked Austin’s father Gil’s request to move to Wellsbury.)

She comes from a good place,” Howey previously reported Us in January 2023. “She’s trying to put this man out of his misery and she’s trying to help this woman move on and not feel guilty about it and try to keep this new image of a father Zach to Zach. But yeah, that’s exactly what ruins the house of cards.”
Now that filming for season 3 has finished, Hawy is enjoying the glamor of the red carpet at events such as WWD Style Awards and the quiet moments in home life with her 18 month old daughter and husband, Matt Ziering. “My happy place is with my daughter,” she gushed on Friday before going on to share Ziering’s most romantic moment. “It might have been a few years ago, but he surprised me with (a) hotel room and flowers and champagne, and you really can’t go wrong (with that).”
