Memory of the Beach Boys Brian Wilson comes from a family of musicians.
Brian, born in June 1942, is the eldest child Audree Wilson and songwriter and music publisher Murry Wilson. Later his parents welcomed sons Wilson’s tennis and Carl Wilson in 1944 and 1946, respectively. Brian, Dennis and Carl y Beach Boys later formed along with cousin Mike’s love and friend Al jardineAnd the group became one of the most influential bands of the rock age. (Dennis and Carl died in 1983 and 1998, respectively.)
A year after the Beach Boys achieved great fame with their first hit “Surfin ‘Usa” in 1963, Brian tied the knot with Marilyn Rovell. The pair went on to welcome women Carnie Wilson and Wendy Wilson Before calling he quit in 1978. Brian later married Melinda Kae Ledbetter In 1995, the pair adopted five children: Dakota, Daria, Delanie, Dylan and Dash.
By 2012, Brian had become the father of six grandchildren: Lola, Luciana, Leo, Will, Beau and Jesse. Carnie shares the girls of Lola and Luciana with her husband Robert BonfiglioWhile Wendy shares the sons of Leo, Beau and twins will and Jesse with her husband Daniel Knutson.

Brian’s father, Murry, and Mum, Audree, tied the knot in 1938. They went on to welcome Brian in 1942 and then Dennis and Carl in 1944 and 1946, respectively, before divorcing in 1966.
Brian brothers, Dennis and Carl, were born in 1944 and 1946, respectively. All of the brothers gained international recognition for their band, The Beach Boys. Dennis, the drummer, died of drowning in 1983 at the age of 39. Carl, Chief guitarist of the Beach Boys, died of lung cancer in 1998. He was 51.
Brian met his first wife in 1962 when she was a high school student. He married the Deos in December 1964 and welcomed Carnie in 1968, followed by Wendy in 1969. After several years of stressed marriage, Marilyn and Brian separated in 1978 and filed for divorce the following year.
Initially, Brian Ledbetter, who was a car woman and later became Brian’s manager, dated between 1986 and 1989. The couple later re -connected in 1991 and got married in 1995. Brian adopted Ledbetter and Ledbetter five children together: Dakota, Daria, Delanie, Dylan and Dash. Brian’s wife died in January 2024 at the age of 77.
“My heart is broken. Melinda, my beloved wife of 28 years, died this morning,” Brian shared in a statement following her death. “Our five children and I are in tears only. We’re missing. Melinda was bigger than my wife. She was my savior. She gave the emotional security I needed for a career. She encouraged me to make the music that was closest to my heart. She was my anchor. She was everything for us.
Brian and Rovell’s first daughter, Carnie, was born in 1968. Carnie and her sister, Wendy, along with a friend PHILLIPSRegister the Pop Wilson Phillips vocal group in 1989. The Group, who released popular hits as “Hold On,” in 1993 before eventually reuniting in 2003 and 2012. Carnie has also recorded some individual initiatives, releasing, releasing, releasing Mother’s gift: nursery rhymes in 2006 followed by a Christmas album in 2007.

Carnie tied the knot in 2000, and went on to welcome the women of Lola and Luciana in 2005 and 2009, respectively.

Wendy married Knutson, a record producer, in 2002. They share the sons of Leo and Will and Beau and Jesse twins.
During Brian’s wedding with Ledbetter, he adopted the dakota duo, Daria, Delanie, Dylan and Dash.
“About a year into our marriage, we decided we wanted children, and we didn’t get married until I was 48,” explained Ledbetter in an interview in 2004 with Larry King. “We decided we would adopt.”
The five children have chosen to stay out of the public eye.
Carnie welcomed Lola and Luciana in 2005 and 2009, respectively. In January 2025, Lola divided her an audition American Idol.

Wendy and Knutson Leo and Will welcomed in 2003 and 2004, respectively. Beau and Jesse’s twins arrived in 2007.
