Brian Wilson dead in 82: Beach Boys pays tribute to the legend

The current members of the Beach Boys Mike’s love and Bruce Johnston paid tribute all -band late Brian Wilson follow his death at the age of 82 on Wednesday, June 11.

“The world mourns a genius today, and we mourn for the loss of our cousin, our friend, and our partner in a great musical adventure,” shared the Beach Boys through Instagram. “The Beach Boys’ heart was not just Brian Wilson – he was the soul of our sound. The tunes he dreamed up and the emotions that poured out every note changed a music course forever.”

Brian formed the Beach Boys with brothers Tennis and Carl Wilsontheir cousin love and childhood friend Al jardine In Hawthorne, California, in 1961. The Surf Rock group has had a number of personnel changes throughout their history, with Brian regularly performing regularly as a beach boy for their fiftieth anniversary journey in 2012.

The statement continued, “We are broken as it passes. We will continue to cherish the timeless music we have made together and the joy we brought to millions over the decades.

Previously, Brian’s family spoke on Wednesday by saying they were “heartbreaking” to confirm the death of the rock music legend.

“We are at a loss for words at the moment,” his family said in a statement. “Respect our privacy at this time as our family mourns. We realize that we share our grief with the world.”

Brian was the leading songwriter of the Beach Boys during his extinguishing period with the group between 1961 and 1998, Cowriting Classics as “Good Vibrations,” “Little Deuce Coupe,” “Fun, Fun, Fun” and “I Get Around,” among dozens of others. It was set up in the Rock and Roll Immortal Gallery as a member of The Beach Boys in 1988 and was later incorporated into the Song Composers’ immortal gallery in 2000.
