The Milwaukee Brewers were able to obtain a 3-0 deficit again to defeat the Chicago Cubes 8-4, giving them an advantage of a party in the Central NL, as well as the best record in the National League.
“You know, our team does not feel any pressure” Brewers camper Christian Yelich told Mlb.com before the game. “We feel that no one expects us to be in this place anyway.”
Despite the lack of pressure, it was not the best start for Rookie’s phenom launcher Jacob Misorowski. He resigned from two wins in the first post and recorded an error that allowed the cubes to make a 3-0 advantage.
“It’s a long entry” Misorowski said in a postgame interview. “Long tickets suck.”
Long is a bit of underestimation. Misorowski ended up throwing 40 throws in the first, which would explain why his night was over after only four tickets. However, “Miz” teammates did not look too annoying for the rocky start.
“I said,” It was my favorite start to the big leagues, honestly, “said Yelich.” All the cruise and the “punches” and all this is fun and exciting, but this shows you a lot about what is done outside when it is a kind of hitting, “fan it.”
After a first entry, Misorowski installed and kept Chicago without score until the end of the fourth post. He also managed to get four more batters, including Pete Crow-Armstrong de All-Star.
“It wasn’t too bad,” said Misorowski. “Go ahead. Trust the team is behind me and will help me, and they did so, so it was impressive.”
“I think he revealed a lot” said Milwaukee director, Pat Murphy, after the game. “First entry, we are going down 3-0. He feels horrible … He is like a fighter who demolished himself in the first round, and he is (he recovers) … He said, at that moment,” I am exhausted “. And he still gave us four and wanted to leave a fifth.
Once Misorowski got into a slot, the brewer’s offense came to life. Milwaukee scored four runs in the third post for a 4-3 advantage, thanks in part to a double Christian Yelich. Then, in the seventh post, Yelich struck a two-shot Homer to put Milwaukee ahead of 8-4.
“They are a good team. It’s fun when they are a good team,” Yelich explained as he discusses the difference between cubes and Brewers expectations. “It feels as if we were playing with the money in the house. They are supposed to win the division. They are supposed to have high expectations. They have half of our coach, they have made a lot of shops, so if they do not win the division, I’m sure it would be quite disappointing.”
Two other brewers won the races at home in the game last night: the first base Andrew Vaughn and the right camper Sal Frylick. As a team, Milwaukee ended the night with ten times against only three attacks. For his comparison, Chicago ended six times and 14 attacks.
“For us, we are just trying to make life difficult about them and the rest of the league and see what we can do,” said Yelich. “This has always been our model here.”
The Chicago Cubs will try to take revenge exactly tonight against Milwaukee’s Brewers, as they are even seen in the three 1-1 games series. With a victory, Chicago can regain the best record in the National League. The first field of this game is scheduled for 19:40 EDT.
