Survivor aum Bret Labelle and Chris Stanleypaid any thought to the criticism of their age gap relationship.
Labelle started dating Stanley, which is 27 years younger, in 2020. The Deos was honest their age difference throughout their romance.
“Sometimes people think he’s my dad really. Other people think I’m with him for money only,” said Stanley The advocateIn August 2023. “They think he is my sugar dad, which is not clearly true.”
He added: “Sometimes people make the scandalous assertion that I have been ‘pounded’ or something, which is not only true. In fact, I’m the one who followed. They think we’re both strange.”
In April 2025, Labelle announced that he and Stanley had called it quit after four years of dating.

2016
Nearly four years before Labelle began to date Stanley, he came out in public so gay during a conversation with a fellow competitor Zeke Smith on season 33 of Survivor. (Smith is also a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and married Supermarket aum Nico Santos in 2023.)
“I didn’t grow up in a time when it was normal to talk about being gay, and the millennials don’t care,” Labelle divided in a Survivor:Millennials vs gen xConfessional. “Zeke finds comfort in being himself, and I think that’s great. And I hope that as my life goes on, from now on, I can be so.”
2020
Stanley sent a message to Labelle via Instagram in the center of the coronavirus pandemic, and they quickly hit her away.

January 2023
They became an Instagram officer three years later.

“As I looked at yesterday buying this beautiful tree – yes, it’s real – my boyfriend gives the cashier his credit card, but I’m like, ‘No, no, let me pay for this.’ So, I’m getting out my credit card and I put it to her, ”Stanley remembered in a Tiktok video. “It’s like, ‘Oh yes, nice.’ And I’m like, ‘Why is she so excited to pay?’ And it’s like, ‘I think the more you give, the more you get this holiday season.’ “

Stanley eventually decided against correcting the woman. “I’m being left about what the look would be like if I had told her (the truth),” she added.

Labelle took to Instagram To share the news that he and Stanley had split.
“Sometimes love means to let go. Chris and I have shared so many memories, laughter and growth together, and I will always be grateful for that,” the reality star headed a picture of him and Stanley embraces. “While our paths are now going in different directions, the care and respect remains. Wishing nothing but happiness, love and success on his journey. Thanks for the memories.”
