Jessie J. been diagnosed with breast cancer.
The singer, 37, announced through Instagram On Tuesday, June 3, she received the news before releasing her track “No Secrets” on April 25.
“I was diagnosed with early breast cancer. I highlight the word early. Cancer sucks in any form but I hold the word early,” Jessie told fans of the social media video. “I’ve been in and out of tests throughout this time. I wanted to be open and shared. One, because, selfishly, I’m not talking enough about it. I don’t process it because I work so hard. I also know how much sharing in the past has helped me with other people giving me their love and support and also their own stories. I’m an open book.”
The “Tag Price” singer also headed the video with a light emotional summary. “No (more) secrets and is it too soon to make a remix called ‘Living My Breast Life’? 🥴,” wrote Jessie. “Every joke aside (you know it’s one of the ways I’m going through hard times) This last 2 has been so amazing, and having this going on alongside it on the sideline has given me the most amazing perspective. But … your daughter needs a hug. 🫂🫀🔋 🫂🫀🔋.”
