The WBO has ordered the heavy weight champion Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 kos) to face the support of the interim leash Joseph Parker (36-3, 24 kos). The two have a month (30 days) to make an agreement to promise an offer of purses with the sanctioning body.
It will be in Usyk, 38, to determine if he wants to face Parker or focus on a party more lucrative than people are interested in watching.
Parker has rebuilt his career with recent wins on a 310 -pound Martin Bole out of shape and two larger heavy weights, Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang.
New Zealand Parker had been scheduled to challenge IBF champion Daniel Dubois last month on February 22’s card in Riad, but Dubois had a disease. This would have been a very hard struggle for Joseph to win because Dubois is his first and young people.
Parker has a boring style of struggle and his personality does not seem to be excited to see him. If Usyk faces him, many fans will pass this struggle if sold to PPV. Without a size, Usyk-Parker is a little brilliant struggle.
Fans would prefer to watch the WBA, WBC and Wbo Usyk Face Dubois champion for the indisputable championship instead of Parker. He has seen as the next best heavy weight of the division next to Usyk.
The two would be an excellent struggle. If Usyk wins his struggle with Parker, he can still face Dubois in a resale if he is a party that interests him.
Usyk arrives at Tyson Fury’s victories, and is looking to beat. He sent Fury to retire with his recent victory over him on December 21 in his resale last year.
Parker must make the most of this opportunity because it has taken him seven years to get this position after losing the Wbo title in 2018 to Anthony Joshua.
