WBC, WBO, IBF and heavy weight champion of WBF, clear ‘t-rex’ shields (17-0, 3 kos) defeated the World Heavy Weight Champion of IBF Lani Daniels (11-3-2, 1 KO) by a unanimous decision of ten rounds on Saturday night at Little Caesars Arena de Detroit, Michigan.
In the first four rounds, Shields pursued Daniels, easily winning all three rounds. In the fourth round, Shields ended with a left hook on the chin.
In the fifth round, Daniels decided to stand with his feet with Shields, who beat it. In the sixth round, Shields continued to overcome Daniels. In the seventh round, Shields won again, but Daniels landed the final punch. In the last seconds of the eighth round, Daniels had Shields resting on the corner, exchanging.
In the final minute of the ninth round again, Daniels stood in front of Shields, who was against the ropes in another round of shields. In the tenth and final round, Daniels stood with her in a losing performance, but of play.
The scores were 100-90, 99-91 and 99-91. Judge Langros was the referee.
Samantha Worthington (12-0, 7 kos) lightweight weight beat Victoire Piteau (14-3, 2 kos) for a unanimous decision of ten rounds.
In the first five rounds, Worthington had the edge. In the last five rounds, Piteau again struggled.
The scores were 99-91, 95-95 and 96-94.
Former WBC champion World Junior Middleweight, Tony ‘Super Bad’ Harrison (30-4-1, 21 kos) defeated Edward Ulloa Diaz (15-7, 12 kos) by a unanimous decision of ten rounds, leaving the canvas in the ninth.
In the first four rounds, Harrison had the edge. In the sixth round, Diaz landed an overflow on Harrison’s chin. At the end of the seventh round, Díaz was able to lift Harrison in the air, making a warning from the referee well Rodriguez.
In the last seconds of the ninth round, Díaz landed a right cross on his chin, leaving Harrison for an 8 count for referee Rodriguez. In the tenth and final round, it was a nearby with Harrison who returned from the defeat of the previous rounds to take this round on a thin margin.
The scores were 96-93, 98-91 and 97-92.
The heavy weight “The price is correct” Prryce Taylor (9-0, 6 kos) easily surpassed Robert Simms (12-5-1, 3 kos) by a unanimous decision of eight rounds.
In the first four rounds, Taylor won the four rounds. In the fifth round, the very overweight Simms was affected by four rights to Taylor at the end of the round.
In the sixth round, Taylor continued to overcome Simms at the punch, winning another round, ending with two left hooks on the chin. In the seventh round, Taylor left SouthPaw, without making any difference as he won another round. In the eighth and final round, in the last seconds, Taylor landed a right with SIMMS controlling a left on the chin.
The scores were 80-72, 80-72 and 80-72.
