In the first three rounds, Gonzalez had an advantage at Coolwell’s departure with combinations. In the fourth and fifth round, Coolwell returned well enough to take both rounds.
In the sixth round, Halfway Point, Gonzalez led Coolwell with half a dozen body shots. In the seventh round they had their moments. In the eighth and final round, Coolwell, knowing that it may need a stop, but he could not leave Gonzalez.
