Valdez’s impotent performance

The world-class two divisions, Valdez, 34, came to the fight in a mandatory situation after losing three of his last five fights. Tonight, he applied constant pressure on the young and older 24 -year -old Medina. However, it was not an easy struggle for Valdez, as his younger opponent was constantly beaten.

The scores were 100-89, 100-89 and 99-91.

Medina took many punishments in rounds four and five in Valdez. Among the rounds, he had the gaze of a clueless fighter due to all the features that Oscarscar was landing on him. However, he did not give up and continued to fight, landing good traits of power, forcing Valdez to endure when he would approach.

Valdez landed great in the eighth and the ninth round, but Medina grabbed them well. The blows that Valdes had demolished many opponents during his best years fighting the feather weight had no effect on Medina. Valdez is not the same in the 130s that he campaigned for Featherweight from 2012 to 2019.

In the tenth round, Medina fought hard, taking the best shots of Valdez and responding as best. Valdez was trying to get to get the tie. When Medina remained, he wasted and continued to swing. You could see the frustration on Valdez’s face as he struggled in the last minute. He wanted the Knockout, but his power did not move the biggest medina.

A new reality for Valdez

At the end of the struggle, Valdez seemed to be an unhappy camper, as Medina congratulated him. The younger fighter seemed pleased that he would have gone to the distance with the former World Champion of the Division. The Oscar seemed miserable and understandable.

His opponent, Medina, is a fighter who was supposed to be out of the world because he is not a world -class contestant. After losing two of his last three loss fights to Emanuel Navarrete, Medina was a boy who was expected to eliminate. It is unlikely not to happen that it was not a strong sign that his vision of turning into a world champion in Super Featherweight.
