Abdullah Mason (19-0, 17 kos) defeated Jeremiah “Key Low” Nakathila (26-5, 21 kos) by a fiftieth-round technical knockout in a light fight on Saturday night at the Scope Arena de Norfolk, Virginia.
In the first two rounds, Mason had a slight advantage. In the third round, Mason beat Nakathila with punches. In the fourth round, Mason swinging Nakathila according to the end of the round with a left on the chin. Nakathila has a significant swelling around the left eye, which causes the doctor to stop.
At the co-main event, Southpaw Kelvin Davis (15-1, 8 kos) lost a decision of most ten rounds against Nahir Albright (17-2, 7 kos).
In the first round, Albright used a right against SouthPaw Davis, who managed to go around. In the second round, Albright landed a stop on the chin, driving Davis against the ropes in the middle of the round. In the third round, Davis was too much.
In the fourth final round, a counter from Albright, on Davis’s chin, kept him. In the fifth round, Albright would land a punch and Davis would immediately throw him to a clinch. Referee Malik Waleed needed to get a point away from Davis for continuous participation.
In the seventh round, referee Waleed finally warned Davis for being held. Davis started fighting in the final minute without maintaining. Albright had a small cut by the right eye due to a Davis head. In the eighth round, he was close to Albright with a slight advantage.
In the ninth round, Albright made another round. In the tenth and final round, Albright left and landed a left hook on Davis’s chin, drawing his attention, taking him Albright in a group. After a clinch, Albright landed a right on Davis’s chin
The scores were 95-95, 97-93 and 96-94.
SouthPaw Euri ‘La Bazuca’ Cedeno (12-0-1, 11 kos) eliminated Abel ‘Authentic’ Mina (18-4-1, 9 kos) after five rounds of 10 rounds scheduled.
In the first three rounds, Cedeno stormed and went out to Mina. In the fifth round, Cedeno fell with a right to the head of the last seconds. At the end of the round, Mina’s corner called the stop.
The heavy weight Olympic delanca ‘Tiger’ Johnson (16-0, 7 kos) defeated Janelson Bocachica (17-4-1, 11 kos) by a unanimous decision of ten rounds.
In the first five rounds, he was close to Johnson with a slight advantage. In the sixth round, Bocachica had a good round.
In the ninth round, he went ahead and to the whole round with Bocachica going to the body leading Johnson to the ropes of the bell. In the tenth and final round, Johnson beat Bocachica in a nearby round.
The scores were 100-90, 97-93 and 98-92. Chris Flores was the referee.
Middleweight Troy Isley Olympic Trojan (15-0, 5 kos) defeated Etundi Michel William (16-2, 12 kos) by a unanimous decision of ten rounds.
In the first five rounds, Isley beat William with a strong body attack, winning the five rounds. In the seventh round, Isley suffered a small cut outside the left eye.
In the eighth round, Isley returned even stronger, taking another round. In the ninth round, William became the aggressor, knowing that he was far behind. In the tenth and final round, William used his reach to go around.
The scores were 98-92, 96-94 and 96-94. Malik Waleed was the referee.
Davis “Scooter” light and Davis (7-0, 7 kos) stopped Naheem Parker (5-3, 2 kos) at the end of the second round of a six scheduled rounds.
In the final second round, Davis landed a upper left on the body and went down to Parker for the Count of the referee Clanccy.
Keon Welterweight Keon ‘DB3’ Davis (4-0, 3 Kos) eliminated Michael A. Velez-Garcia (3-1, 2 kos) at 2:22 in the second round of six rounds planned.
In the second round, Davis landed a right followed by a left on his body and went down Velez-Garcia, dragging himself through the ring, and was counted by referee Bill Cancecy.
Patrick O’Connor (1-0, 1 ko) stopped Marcus Smith (2-2, 2 kos) at 2:03 in the second round of four rounds scheduled.
In the second round, O’Connor landed a right to the body on the body, having it in the corner and wounded, when the referee Bill Clanccy gave him a count of 8. Shortly afterwards, O’Connor detained Smith with a number of punches without answer, causing the Clancy referee to stop.
