Floyd Mayweather Jr. He will face Mike Tyson in an exhibition attack by 2026.
CSI Sports announced on Thursday that the two Fampers Hall will go head, with full details yet to be confirmed.
Mayweather has regularly competed in exhibitions after his withdrawal of an unbeaten career that won him world titles in five different classes of weight.
Tyson was beaten by the influencer Jake Paul in a unanimous decision in November last year.
At its peak, Tyson was probably the most feared heavy weight of all time. However, his decision to return to the Ring with Mayweather at the age of 59 will probably attract many criticism, with the struggle marking another strange episode in a often controversial career.
Mayweather used to be forceful, as he and Tyson spoke of the fight as a sporting event for the world.
“You know that if I will do something, it will be great and it will be legendary,” said Mayweather.
“I am the best in the boxing business. This exhibition will give fans what they want.”
Tyson added: “This struggle is not something that neither the world nor I thought or could happen. However, the boxing has entered a new age of unpredictable and this struggle is as unpredictable as it is.”
Mayweather, at a minimum, can be considered partially responsible for announcing a new era of high -profile exhibition fights involving athletes and celebrities from different areas. The 48 -year -old stopped the UFC star Conor McGregor, in the tenth round of his final struggle for his career in 2017.
He has struggled eight times in exhibitions since then, although only four of these attacks were scored.
This confrontation of two grains of all time will undoubtedly attract a lot of attention, but Mayweather’s view is likely to take a man of Tyson’s age for a restless show. At best, it is debatable if the authentic boxing fans want to witness a competition, which many believe that they will ultimately only harm the sport.
