Boxers to watch in 2025


Heavyweight champion and former cruiserweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, 22-0 with 14 stops from Ukraine.

Next up could be interim WBO champion Daniel ‘Dynamite’ Dubois, 22-2 with 21 stops from the UK. Dubois is fighting former champion Joseph Parker 35-3 with 23 stops on February 22nd.

Both lightweight champion Artur Beterbiev, 21-0, with 29 stops from Russia and Montreal, Canada, and his upcoming rematch with former champion Dmitrii Bivol, 23-1, with 12 stops from Kyrgyzstan and Indio, California. Both fighters to watch.

On February 25, they have their rematch after a fight that could have gone either way.

Naoya ‘The Monster’ Inoue, WBC, WBO and IBF super bantamweight champion, 28-0 with 25 stops from Japan.

He was scheduled to fight Jan. 24 against Australian Sam Goodman, who is 19-0 with eight stoppages. However, that fight has now been canceled due to Goodman suffering an eye injury during training.

Inoue, the four-division world champion, is arguably the better pound-for-pound fighter.

WBC Super Flyweight Champion Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez, 21-0 with 14 stops from San Antonio, Texas.

WBA Lightweight Champion Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis, 30-0 with 28 stoppages from Baltimore, Maryland.

Fight with Lamont Roach, 25-1-1, now back on August 1st in Brooklyn, New York.

WBC bantamweight champion Junto Natatani is 29-0 with 22 shutouts from Japan.

He is scheduled to meet Daniel ‘El General’ Cuéllar, 28-0, with 18 saves from Mexico.

Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez, WBA, WBC and WBO super middleweight champion, 62-2-2 with 39 stoppages from Mexico.

Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford, interim WBA Super Welter and WBO champion, 41-0 with 31 stoppages from Omaha, Nebraska.

Crawford is looking for a fight with Alvarez for his super middleweight title.

Possible close fight between WBA and WBO cruiserweight champion Gilberto ‘Zurdo’ Ramirez, 44-1 with 30 stops from Mexico, and IBF champion Jai Opetaia, 27-0 with 21 stops from Australia.
