Box results: Katie Taylor Tops Amanda Serrano at the third historical meeting at Packed Madison Square Garden

Olympic Olympic and current Wbo Olympic Medalist, WBC, IBF and IBO Super Lightweight Champion Katie Taylor (25-1, 6 kos) won a ten-round major decision on Amanda “The Real Deal ‘Serrano (47-4-1, 31 Kos) on Friday night against a multitude of soldlings in Madison Square Garden Garden of New York.

In the first six rounds, there were too few punches, which fell mostly, with Serrano the aggressor. In the seventh round, Taylor had an advantage over Serrano in the eighth round.

In the ninth round, he was close with Serrano with an advantage. In the tenth and final round, he was probably the best in the fight. A tie would be correct.

The scores were 95-95, 97-93 and 97-93. Harvey Dock was the referee.

Ellie Scotney (11-0, 6 kos), Ibf, Ibo, Wbo Super Bantamweight, defeated Super Bantam’s champion Yamileth ‘Yeimi’ Mercado (24-4, 5 kos) by a unanimous decision of ten rounds to unify titles.

In the first five rounds, Scotney had an advantage with a left hook. In the sixth, both Scotney and Mercado were cut off by the right eye. In the ninth round, Scotney threw Mercado on the canvas. In the tenth and final round, the fight continued with Scotney taking another round with the blood flowing from the two.

The scores were 100-90, 98-92 and 98-92. Sparkle Lee was the referee.

At the CO-MAIN event, WBC, IBF, WBO, the IBO pen weight champion, Alycia ‘The Bomb’ Baumgardner (16-1, 7 kos), won Jennifer Miranda (12-1, 1 ko) for a ten-round unanimous decision.

In the first three rounds, Baumgardner had an advantage. In the last seconds of the fourth round, both boxers fired. In the fourth round, Miranda returned to Baumgardner. In the fifth round, it was Baumgardner leaving Miranda, who took the sixth round again.

In the seventh and eighth round, Miranda had a slight advantage and Baumgardner. In the ninth round, they both had their moments. In the tenth and final round, it was all the action in the bell with Baumgardner who took it out.

The scores were 98-92, 98-92 and 97-93. Ricky Gonzalez was the referee.

The IBF Super Media champion, Savanah “Silent Murdin ‘Marshall (13-2, 10 kos), lost a decision divided by ten rounds to the Wbo Shadasia Green (16-1, 11 kos) world champion.

In the first two rounds, the highest marshall used his fist to control the rounds. Referee Thomas Taylor warned Green for being held. In the third round, Green won again. In the fourth round, referee Taylor took a point from Green to keep.

In the fifth round, Green was working in Marshall, finishing the round with a right at the Marshall chin. In the sixth in the eighth round, Green went out to Marshall in a uniform struggle. In the ninth round, Marshall returned well, taking the round. In the tenth and final round, the fans encouraged the two boxers, as Green could have been removed.

The scores were 95-94, 96-93 for Green and 96-93 for Marshall. Thomas Taylor was the referee.

Cheneka ‘Sugar NEEKZ’ Johnson (18-2, 8 kos), IBF, WBC, stopped Shurretta ‘Chiccn’ Metcalf (14-5-1, 2 kos) at 1:02 in the ninth 10 × 2 round round. Charlie Fitch was the referee.

Chantelle “Il Capo” Cameron (21-1, 8 kos), WBC Interim World Champion, defeated Jessica ‘The Cobra’ Camara (14-5-1, 3 kos) by a ten-wheeled unanimous decision.

The scores were 99-91, 99-91 and 98-92. The referee was Thomas Taylor.

Super Bantamweight Ramla Ali (10-2, 2 kos) defended Lila Furtado (11-3, 2 kos) for a unanimous decision of eight rounds.

Scores 78-74, 77-75 and 77-75. The referee was Sparkle Lee.

Medium weight thibeaault (3-0, 2 kos) stopped Southpaw Mary Casamassa (6-1, 1 ko) at 2:18 of the fifth round of an eight scheduled rounds. Charlie Fitch was the referee.
