Box results: Fernando Martinez defeats Ioka in resale, but the extensive dashboard attracts a social fire on social media

The WBA Super Flyweight champion (115 pounds) Fernando Martinez (17-0, 9 kos) used his Martiano-Esque Finfling stroke without defeating the world champion of four Kazuto Ioka divisions (31-4-1, 16 KO) for a 12-round unanimous decision on its resale last Saturday night at the Ota-City Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan.

Like its first attack last July, the struggle was endless of the first bell. Martinez, 33, used his high punch production to impress the judges, starting the action everywhere. It was there that Ioka, 35, lost the fight. He let Martinez the aggressor.

The pressure of Martinez

The scores: 114-113, 114-112 and 117-110. There was a lot of criticism of boxing fans on social media about 117-110 for Martinez, because they considered that Judge Robert Hoyle had marked him too wide, taking into account what the knife competition had been. Some fans saw this as a bias sign by Hoyle. However, he probably felt that the aggressive, harder and most numerous traits of Martinez in each round were the difference. It was difficult to ignore as Martinez always connected with the biggest blows. Ioka focused too much on contrast with his weakest features and did not go into the attack in the way he needed.

Ioka scored a tenth round, leaving Martinez with a left hook. However, the Argentine Martinez again stormed, attacking Ioka without stopping with shots after leaving. He continued to attack the Japanese star with a punch storm in rounds 11 and 12. Ioka seemed for this style, encouraging Fernando to continue fighting him on foot on the final round. It was strange. Martinez was improving Kazuto nearby with his Rocky Martiano in style Clubbing Punches, but I still wanted to fight.

The future of york

There is no point in having a trilogy game between them because Martinez has already shown that his large style will be too much for the aging of the Ioka warrior. At the age of 35, Ioka has to consider -withdrawing because he could not overcome the other champions, Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez and Phumelele Cafu, in 115.

Ioka could go to heavy weight and try to rejuvenate his career. However, his lack of power would be even harder for him in this class of weight. To succeed against the strongest punches, Ioka has to attack more and it is not his style.
