The heavy champion IBF USBA, Brandon ‘Oj Bam’ Moore (19-1 (10), easily defeated Deandre ‘Big’ Savage (10-1-1) by a unanimous decision of ten rounds on Friday night at the Fox Theater, Detroit, Michigan.
In the first three rounds, the highest moore (3 “) used an effective dagger, taking all the rounds. Savage, with 10 knockouts, never went from three rounds. In the fourth through the sixth round, Moore landed hard rights sometimes on the Savage chin, which took them well.
In the seventh round, Savage finally began to land some hooks on the left. With the remaining twenty seconds, Moore landed on the right on the Savage chin for an 8 count of the referee Ansel Stewart.
In the ninth round, everything was Moore, looking for a stop. In the tenth and final round, Moore continued to close Savage, using his JAB for most, unless he reached the solid right on his chin with a remaining minute. During the last two rounds, Savage had a ribbon hanging on the right glove that the referee never seemed to notice.
The scores were 100-89, 10.0-89 and 99-90.
In the co-main event, Olivia Curry (7-2-2 (2) ended in a ten-round majority tie with former Australian champion Kaye Scott (4-1-1) for WBC and WBA WBA vacancies. Scott voted and sought to have an advantage.
In the first lap, it was Scott who had 100 amateur fights (47-26, according to Boxec), beating Curry. In the second round, Scott controlled until the final minute when Curry landed well on the body. At the middle of the third round, Curry’s left eyebrow was cut off, possibly a chip of heads, but the referee well Rodriguez called it a punch.
In the fourth until the seventh round, he was close to the two moments in a struggle of all action. In the eighth round, Scott took the first half with Curry taking the remaining round.
In the ninth round, Curry suffered a blow to the front. It was another round of action. In the tenth and final round, Scott pulled blood from Curry’s nose, which continued to fight in another action.
The scores were 98-92 Scott, 95-95 and 95-95.
Super Middleweight Develle ‘Cadilac’ Smith (14-0 (9) stopped Janer Gonzalez (24-9-1 (20) at 2:59 in the second round of an eight scheduled rounds.
In the first round, Smith, from the Kronk gym, had a good round against Gonzalez, who advanced in weight. In the final minute of the second round, Smith left Gonzalez with his right on his chin for a referee’s count Ansel Stewart, barely overcoming the count. In the last seconds, Smith left Gonzalez again, who took the count with his knee.
Heavy Southpaw Sardius Simmons (4-0 (2) overcome the Isom-raryley of Lemir “Bang” of the afternoon (5-7 (3) for a unanimous decision of six rounds.
In the first two rounds, Simmons surpassed Isom-Iryley, who had a good punch. In the final minute of the fourth round, Simmons landed half a dozen punches without answer. In the last seconds, Isom-Iryy turned around the things, and that Simmons supported a corner in the bell.
At the middle of the fifth round, Simmons swing down Isom-Iryley with a lead to the left on the chin. Isom-Iryy seems to return again and again, though he loses the five rounds. In the sixth and final round, it was Isom-raryy who had its best round, possibly winning it in a nearby round.
The scores were 58-56, 58-56 and 59-55. Ben Rodriguez was the referee.
Kahmel Light Heavy weight Kahmel (4-0 (3) defeated Christian JuraSic (2-2) by a six-point decision.
