Air India’s plane crash stated a black box at the plane crash in India, said the Minister of Civil Aviation of India on Friday.
Flight data recorder was resumed within 28 hours of the India’s Aviation Aviation Investigation Bureau (AAIB), confirmed by Mohan Naida Kinrapa.
All but one of the 242 people in the London flight were killed when he crashed into a residential area less than 60 seconds after takeoff on Thursday. The official told the BBC that at least eight people on the ground were also killed.
“(Recovery of the black box) means an important step forward in the investigation” and “greatly help the investigation” in the disaster, said Mr.
Aircraft usually carry two black boxes – small but hard electronic data records.
One records flight data such as height and speed. Other records sound out of the cab, so investigators can hear what the pilots say and listen to any unusual noise.
AAIB conducts an investigation into the disaster that helps teams from the US and UK. Boeing Chief Executive Director Kelly Ortberg said the company supports the investigation.
Air India said there were 169 Indian citizens, 53 British, seven Portuguese and one Canadian at the Dreamliner Boeing 787 International Airport when he crashed after departing from Ahmedabad Sardar Volbhbai International Airport at 13:39 local time (08:09).
It was planned to land at the Gatwick London Airport at 18:25 BST.
On Friday, the wreckage was still scattered across the site, including the blackened aircraft wing, with large pieces of plane stuck in the buildings.
Investigators arrived at the scene, and the crowds were moved away from the debris.
The doctor said the BBC that they rested on DNA from relatives to identify the victims. A police officer in a posthumous room told the BBC that the remains of six people had been released to the families so far because their relatives were able to identify them based on the features of the person.
The only survived as a result of the catastrophe, the British national Vishvashko Ramesh, who was in the seat 11a on the flight, still recovered in the hospital.
“I still can’t believe I did it alive” He told the Indian TV Company DD News Thursday.
“At first I thought I would die. I managed to open my eyes, unbuttoned the seat belt and tried to get out of the plane.”
Mr. Ramesh, 40 years old who suffered burns on his left hand, said he saw a crew of aircraft and his passengers die before his eyes.
Meanwhile, desperate families are still waiting for news about their relatives.
Imiyaz Ali whose brother Jave and his family were in flightHe said he didn’t see his brother’s body, he wouldn’t believe he died.
“When I get upset and start crying, I will be uncontrolled,” he said to the BBC.
“No one can stop me … My heart can burst.”
The plane crashed in a residential area called Megan Nagar, and although it just took off, the impact was serious. The debris is 200 m (656 feet), reports report.
It is still unclear how much died on the ground, but the BBC said at least eight people who were not on the plane died.
D -Rinka Puzzle, Dean of Medical College B. J.
“There were also four relatives of our doctors who were on campus when the plane crashed – they were also killed,” said D -Rakhi.
“We only hope for the coincidence of DNA to identify them, and that’s where we just can’t hurry or make mistakes.
“We work with sincerity. We want the relatives to understand and be a little patient. We want to convey as soon as possible (bodies).”
On Friday, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi spent about 20 minutes at the plane crash.
After that, he did not talk to the journalists, but the video posted on his YouTube channel showed that he walked on the site and inspected garbage.
