Billy Joel says he feels “good”, two months, announcing her diagnosis with a rare brain state of normal hydrocephalus (NPH).
Speaking at the Club Club Club, the five -time Grammy said that his condition was still working on, and he fought with his balance.
“I feel good, they continue to refer to what I have like a brain violation, so it sounds much worse than I feel,” the song author said.
Joel was forced to cancel a number of concert dates this May, after his doctors told him that his condition was “deteriorating the last performances”.
Nph described by NHS As an unusual and poorly understood condition, which most often affects people over 60 years.
The condition causes fluid extensions in the brain, which can affect hearing, vision and mobility.
In the original statement shared by the 76-year-old singer’s Instagram, Joel is said to have been experiencing a “specific” physiotherapy for his condition, and that he is “fully committed to his health.”
His wife, Alexis Joel, wrote in a separate post that the family was “grateful for the wonderful care and a quick diagnosis we received” and that they hoped for a quick recovery.
Joel turned off 17 planned performances In North America and Europe for 2025 and 2026, including the Muriffe stadium in Edinburgh and Enfield in Liverpool.
Joel, who is known for hits, including the girl in Uptown and Piano, has been regularly visited in recent years. Last year, he graduated from a record residence of decades at Madison-Square-Garden in New York.
Its final performance took place in February 2025 when it fell on its back after leaving the microphone stand into the crowd.
He soon announced the delay of his tour, citing a medical condition that demanded him to undergo physiotherapy as part of his recovery after a recent operation.
