Biden’s Cancer Diagnosis adds questions about health as

Joe Biden’s announcement that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer, revived questions about what health problems was a former US president when he was in the White House.

In a statement on Sunday at the Biden office, 82 -year -old was diagnosed on Friday after seeing a doctor for urinary symptoms.

Some doctors were surprised that the aggressive form of cancer spreading to its bone had not been detected before.

Others noted that cancer can grow rapidly without detecting the patient’s symptoms – and that men over 70 do not check.

President Donald Trump told reporters on Monday that his predecessor was to be more transparent with the public, it would seem, without suggesting evidence – that the diagnosis of cancer was covered.

“I think it’s very sad really. I am surprised that the public has not been reported long ago,” Trump said at the White House event.

“It will take years to reach such a level of danger. So, look, this is a very, very sad situation. I feel very bad and I think people should try to find out what happened.”

Biden has not yet responded to Trump’s comments, which appeared against the background of reports that the Democrats’ assistants sought to hide other health conditions in society ahead of the 2024 elections.

Republicans claim that Biden, who acted on re -election as a senior president in the history of 81, was mentally and physically unusable. After a catastrophic discussion against Trump, he abandoned the race.

According to the original SIN, new book by journalists Jake Taper and Alex Thompson, Biden was unable to recognize the Hollywood actor and Democratic donor George Clooney or remember the names of key assistants in the last year.

The authors write: “The physical deterioration of Biden is the most obvious in his stop – they became so serious that there were internal discussions about putting the president in a wheelchair, but they could not do it before the election.”

The publicity created by the book made the senior Democrats to the questions why they did not make any more to answer the concern of the Americans about Biden’s health when he campaigned for re -election.

“The Democrats were a mistake not to listen to voters before,” said Senator Chris Murphy on Sunday.

After the news about Biden’s diagnosis, Vice President J. D. Vens wished him well, but then asked if Biden’s doctors and staff tried to prevent the public about the true state of their health.

“This is not a children’s game, and we can pray for good health, but also admit that if you are unable to do this job, you don’t have to do this job,” he added.

D -zekiel Emmanuel, an oncologist who worked as an advisor at the White House of Biden, was one of those who claimed that Biden probably had cancer for a certain time without knowing it.

“It has not developed over the last 100, 200 days. He had the president,” he said MSNBC Morning Joe Show. “He probably had it at the beginning of his presidency in 2021. Yes, I do not think that there are any differences.”

The US medical recommendations do not recommend ordinary blood for men over 70, because prostate cancer can be very slow, and tested and treatment can translate cancer risk.

Previously, Biden was diagnosed with a benign prostate increase. In 2019, before he was elected, his company published a report from a medical examination, saying that he was treated with medicines and surgery, “and never had a prostate cancer.”

This led to questions about whether Biden was checked at any time during the four -year presidency – and why the diagnosis came so late.

“I would suggest that the former president receives very thorough physical activity every year,” said Reuters D -R -Chris George from the North Western Health network. “It is hard for me to believe that he had (blood test) over the past year, which was normal.”

However, Dr. Robert Figlin, the Cedars-Sinai Cancer, said the BBC that the aggressive way that Biden’s cancer presented was not so unusual. And he warned critics from “believing that he had somehow missed something along the way.”

Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer for men, Cleveland’s clinic reports.

According to US Disease Control Centers (CDC), from every 100 American men 13 will diagnose prostate cancer over their lifetime, and two -three men will die from it.
