A Man of Minnesota With the dream of a bicycle on all seven continents, it was forced to come up with alternative plans after Israel launched a flurry of air strikes at Iran’s military leaders and nuclear facilities, near where he was traveling.
The Associated Press said that 32-year-old Jan Andersen of the Ministry of Education, Minnesota, does not plan to stay in a real war, so he went to neighboring Azerbaijan on Monday.
“The bombs started to fall,” Andersen said on Wednesday, speaking to the Zoom from the hotel in Baku. “It was very scary.”
Andersen toured Iran within the framework of a long -standing mission to go on a bicycle on all seven continents. Pending IranAndersen had a local guide, and since the beginning of June he shared his adventures with tens of thousands of followers on social media.

He also said he saw the long lines of vehicles escorted by Tehran, and at the same time his own family, friends and followers of social media were concerned about his safety.
The US State Department said Andersen in an e -mail that he should leave for Azerbaijan or Turkey.
Anderson’s friend in Los -Angeles addressed a visa to Azerbaijan on his behalf, which was ultimately granted by the US Embassy in Baku.
