Spelling was posted through his Instagram story on Sunday, July 14, sharing a picture of the two women hugging alongside a series of red hearts. “I don’t have external words yet. But we knew and that’s what matters,” headed the picture.

To mark Doherty’s death year, Ziering, who played Steve Sanders, took Instagram to share a heartbreaking tribute. “When he died a year ago, I didn’t post anything. And yes, some people criticized them. To them I say: Grief is not a performance. It’s personal. Let people mourn how they mourn,” he wrote alongside a picture of the couple hugging on July 14, 2025.
