Beverly Hills, 90210 Stars responds to the death of Shannen Doherty

Carteris issued a separate statement to UsWrite, “Shannen was so young and brave. By sharing her journey she has helped so much. My heart goes out to her family and I know that Luke welcomes her with open arms.”

“Shan. My sister… you loved me through everything,” wrote the actor, who portrayed David Silver on the series, through Instagram Story on Sunday. “You were a big part of my understanding of love. I will miss you more than I know how to process at the moment. Thank you for the gift of you 💔.”

Matthew Laurance

“This is the way I choose to remember,” wrote Laurance, who played Mel Silver at the show, through X alongside a picture of younger doherty. “So much of her life was difficult and complicated… I had a lovely relationship with her. And I’m so grateful that I was four months ago having had time with her for three days at the Comic Lexington Con.

Tori spell

Spelling was posted through his Instagram story on Sunday, July 14, sharing a picture of the two women hugging alongside a series of red hearts. “I don’t have external words yet. But we knew and that’s what matters,” headed the picture.

To mark Doherty’s death year, Ziering, who played Steve Sanders, took Instagram to share a heartbreaking tribute. “When he died a year ago, I didn’t post anything. And yes, some people criticized them. To them I say: Grief is not a performance. It’s personal. Let people mourn how they mourn,” he wrote alongside a picture of the couple hugging on July 14, 2025.

The job continued, “I missed Shannen. We conflicted now and again in the early years of 90210-two strong personalities will do it-but we always had respect. Ziering finished the tribute with a moving note directed to his friend. “So, my dear Shannen – I think of you often. Your gravel. Your fire. Your kind heart that so little saw her. I still carry it all with me. Rest easily, Shan,” Ziering wrote.
