Berlanga aims at Milli’s plant

Edgar Berlanga says he wants to fight the Caleb plant, preferring it by the unbeaten Middle Weight Champion of WBC, Christian Mbilli, if he is victorious on Saturday night against Hamzah Sheeraz.

Berlanga plant preference

Choosing the 32 -year -old descent and departure plant on the unbeaten Mbilli would be the final example of a selection of Berlanga cherries, showing what it is about with his career. He had already taken Flak in the past choosing not to fight the ex -“regular” Campion of WBA, David Morrell, when he was forced to his title in 2024.

Recent Caleb Plab struggles

The plant (23-3, 14 kos) seemed old and weak, losing a divided decision of 12 rounds in front of its opponent Jose Armando Resendiz last May. The struggle and the one that before the Sweethands plant showed that it was only a shell of the fighter who had been in 2021 when Canelo Alvarez eliminated him.

This Saturday, July 12, Berlanga (23-1, 18 kos) struggles in Sheeraz in a £ 128 title eliminator at the Louis Armstrong in Queens, New York. The event will be displayed Live in Dazn PPV for $ 59.99.

“I will fight against the Caleb plant,” Berlanga said to The ring When asked if he wants to fight Christian Mbilli, Jermall Charlo or Plant.

Turki’s struggle decision

The question is: Turki will be interested in paying Berlanga for a fight against the plant? Honestly, I do not know why I would do it because it is not what fans can lift -because of how Plant has lost two of his last four fights. David Benavidez defeated Living Daylights outside Caleb in 2023. Plant losing this struggle before his opponent of tuning, Resendiz, on May 31, showed that he has nothing left and that he really never was so good to start.

“I want to end the struggle with a punch, fighting in November or December,” Berlanga told Ring Magazine canal When asked about his plans after Hamzah Sheeraz.

Berlanga’s Canelo Rematch Hopes

Edgar’s main purpose is a resale with Canelo Alvarez for a second chance to collect “this bag”, but this option will not be there, no matter how much it may be in defeating the unbeaten Sheeraz (21-0-1, 17 kos). Turki Alralhikh wants Sheeraz or Chris winner Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn look at Canelo’s clash next February.
