Benji Madden Celebrates Cameron Diaz’s New Movie After Birthday


Cameron Diaz back in action on the big screen – and her husband, Benji Maddenis his No. 1 fan.

“This is my QUEEN ❤️ I celebrate this BAD WOMAN. Wife, mother, friend, partner, boss and lover,” Madden, 45, wrote via Instagram on Friday, January 17. “We just hit 10 YEARS married on January 5th and every year just gets more fulfilling. It is special. Never perfect – always real (and) always reliable. “

He added, “Every day comes to have my best friend with me ride or die. What a wonderful life – I’m GRATEFUL!!! 🙏 and ANOTHER MILESTONE happening TOMORROW!!! We are so glad to see you…. BACK ON WORK!! …Congratulations baby!!❤️❤️❤️🎉🎉🎉.”

Madden further encouraged his social media followers to “go watch” Back to Work on Netflixwhich stars Diaz, 52 and Jamie Foxxwho previously shared the screen in 2014’s Annie.

Back to Work is Diaz’s first acting role in a decade. She before take a step back from Hollywood in 2018 to focus on her family. Diaz and Madden, who married in 2015, welcomed daughter Raddix in 2019. Son Cardinal followed in 2024.

“Being a wife and mother has been the most fulfilling part of my life so far,” Diaz said during a February 2021 appearance on SiriusXM’s In Quarantine With Bruce show. “I waited for this … so I had no distractions. Like, I can’t imagine (working now). As a mother with my child, to have to be on a film set that takes 14 hours, 16 hours, of my time away from her – I couldn’t.”

She continued at the time, “Personally, I feel that I would not be the mother I am now if I had chosen to do that at any other time in my life.”

During her film break, Diaz felt like she was “trying to stay alive just like every other mother.”

“I’m just trying to keep it going,” Diaz explained in an Instagram video shared via the Netflix account on Wednesday, January 15.
